Monteverde Home

This is a furnished three bedroom, two-and–a-half bath home with a modern kitchen, filled with hand-crafted custom woodwork and cabinets.

There is a great room off of the kitchen with a dining area and large living room. The home is u-shaped around a landscaped courtyard.

Attached to the home with entrances in the courtyard are a garage, a spacious laundry room, and a one-bedroom casita where our caretakers live.

The home has a master bedroom, with a locked storage room attached, and full bathroom. There is also a guest half-bath on the first floor. Upstairs, two bedrooms flank a sitting room and full bath. Each upstairs bedroom has a private outdoor balcony. There are private patios off the kitchen and the casita.

The kitchen is fully equipped and there are towels and linen.

The house is floored with beautiful ceramic tiles throughout, including the garage. The house sits on a 2000 square meter landscaped lot on a private road about two kilometers from Santa Elena and four kilometers from the village of Monteverde.

This is a home for people who want to live in the temperate climate near the cloud forest, where it is between 20 & 30 degrees Celsius (65-80 F) most of the year, and who want to live with Ticos, rather than in a gated community, with easy access to the cloud forest reserves, animals and birds-a-plenty. A local environmental group has planted more trees on the property to bridge two forests for migrating birds.
